Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 September 2026
These terms govern your use of smurfdigital.com and the software sold on it. By buying or using anything here you accept them. They sit alongside the Distance Sales Agreement, which governs the sale itself.

2. What we sell
Software for reading, comparing and working on engine control unit files, and access to a library of ECU files. Everything is digital and delivered electronically.
3. Your licence
- You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software you paid for.
- One licence is for one user. Keys are not to be shared, resold, published or rented.
- Do not decompile, reverse-engineer or redistribute the software.
- A key found in public circulation is revoked without refund.
4. Download credits and licence days
- One credit downloads one file. Credits sit on your key, not on an account.
- A key that goes completely unused for 30 days loses 1–10 credits per month. A key you use at least once a month is never reduced. This is stated on the product page, in the delivery message and here.
- Licence days run from the moment the key is issued, whether or not you use the program.
5. Using the software responsibly
These tools work on vehicle control units. Writing the wrong file can immobilise a vehicle or damage a control unit.
- Always verify checksum, control-unit identification, vehicle configuration, file type and programming method before writing anything to a vehicle.
- A match reported by our software is a strong signal, not authorisation to flash.
- Keep your own backup of any original read before you modify it.
- You are responsible for working only on vehicles and files you are entitled to work on, and for complying with the emissions, type-approval and roadworthiness rules that apply where you operate.
6. What we are not liable for
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage to vehicles or control units, lost data, lost work or lost profit arising from use of the software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site and the file archive available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is kept short and outside peak hours where possible.
8. Suspension
We may suspend a key that is shared publicly, used to attack the service, or used for fraudulent payments. We will tell you why.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Changes do not apply retroactively to orders already placed.
10. Law and jurisdiction
Turkish law applies. Consumers may bring claims before the Consumer Arbitration Committee or Consumer Court in their own district. For commercial buyers, the courts and enforcement offices of Mersin, Türkiye have jurisdiction.
